This project bought a new set of challenges. The paint was filmed in camera on-set. There were slight cleanup issues, due to the paint not behaving according to our very direct instructions. Naughty temperamental paint...

 

We used Nuke to reproject portions of the paint onto the white cyc in areas we felt needed work. Also, we used Nuke to retime and reproject the car reflections, completing the cleanup, then reversing the technique to apply them to the surface of the car.
