Damon and Stephen came to us with a great script. They had mapped out what needed to be achieved, and we talked about how best to achieve it.

 

I attended the shoot, supervising the technical aspects and how we would maintain tracks for all the picture frames, for all the frames of the video. Given the intention of the piece to feel as though a single shot, this was no mean feat.

 

I completed the compositing in Flame, much of it at HD resolution, which in 2005 was a slooooooow process.

 

The track was the first single from Bernard's four times platinum solo album ‘Tea And Sympathy’. The track was number 1 on Triple J's 'Hottest 100 of 2005' countdown, while the album won Album of the Year at the 2006 Aria Awards.

 

The music video was the winner of the ARIA best music Video of 2006.
