The consolidated approach from all of the talented CGI and compositing peeps here at The Mill ensured the commercial looked great, and developed according to the clients tight deadline.


For this project I was the onset VFX Supervisor, I helped develop the look during a concept boards process and led the compositing team in Nuke and Flame.


The subtleties of the RS5 are there to see from the swirls produced when polishing a car, to the wiper marks on the windscreen. The RS5 was created with details rarely considered in a full CGI car. We had perfect reference from what we shot onset.


The only incamera element in the final commercial is the top fuel dragster. It was an immense project to undertake in such short a period of time.
