ASDA BRING CHRISTMAS HOME
Working closely with Director Agustin Alberdi from Stink London and AMV BBDO, we helped created this film in the searing 32 degree heat of late-summer Prague. It was gorgeous, a proper sholiday (shoot/holiday). Having said that, everyone felt the spots were better suited to the UK market, if they were set in 0 degree midwinter Yorkshire.
We used all the tools at our disposal in 2D to create snow effects, digital matte paintings, atmosphere, scene reconstructions and general cleanup.
We were blessed with an action packed set featuring dancing skiers, Santas on motorbikes, cowboys riding Christmas trees, polar bear wrapping stations, trabant driving yetis, reindeer snow cats and crowds of extras dressed in their winter best. All this for Asda to ‘Bring Christmas Home’. So. much. Fun.
For this project I was the Shoot Supervisor and led a team of compositors in Nuke and Flame.
